SMC-JSMUA UK& Eire, the oldest alumni organisation of SMCians since 1990 aspire to bring all SMCians working or residing in the UK and Republic of Ireland under one banner to serve the alumni for their professional and social needs. It would adhere to democratic principles at all level and in all its decision making.
Organise social, educational and professional activities for the benefit of its members.
Celebrate and recognise the social, educational and professional achievements of SMC alumni and other Pakistani doctors.
Assist and nurture students of the human sciences and physicians to obtain scientific training.
Offer professional and pastoral support and guidance to its members, including junior members.
Support newly arriving alumni of JSMU by arranging clinical attachments and guiding them through job applications and interviews.
Support medical education and better healthcare in Pakistan through donations of medical literature and supplies, lecture tours, conferences and seminars, and support for JSMU students, faculty and administration.
